St. Joseph the Carpenter, help us build our
Church
Our circle of life begins and ends with the
church. As Catholics, we are baptized, make our first reconciliation and
communion, confirmation, and are married in the Church. We are anointed when we
are sick, and receive the last rites upon our death.
We are beginning the process of raising funds to build
our church - Holy Spirit Parish. A significant amount will be required for the
down payment before we are able to start construction.
We need a roof over our heads, a place to worship and call home,
where the faith life of children, youth, seniors and families can be more easily
met. We are inviting you to help us. At this time in our lives, our family, would very much appreciate a gift of bricks.
Your name shall be recorded in our Book that will be display in the new church. We thank you for your generous support.

WHAT IS PRE-AUTHORIZED GIVING PLAN (P.A.G.)?
Through the Archdiocese of Toronto, Holy Spirit Parish has established Pre-Authorized Giving Plan, to help you in your financial support of the Parish, through your Building Fund Donations and Weekly Budget Offertory.
It is a very simple procedure when you participate:
You will decide the amount you would like to contribute on a monthly basis (for example: if you can afford $15 or $20 or more per week then multiply this amount by 4.33 <52 weeks> to withdraw from your account) as long as you want to financially support Holy Spirit Parish;
Your monthly donation will be withdrawn from your account on or about the 20th of the month and deposited to Archdiocese Bank Account;
The Archdiocese on the 25th of the month will transfer donations to Holy Spirit Parish Bank Account and provide a list of donors Cost to the parish is $0.35 per transfer.
WHY SHOULD I PARTICIPATE?

The Parish will assist you with her programs
You don’t need to write a cheque or find cash each week to put in the envelope.
Mindful decision as to how much I should offer to the Parish and God.

Regular donations from the parishioners, even from those who can’t attend weekly.
Less administration work and bookkeeping.
Reduction of bank overdraft and charges.
Financial stability of the Parish.
Better growth in Church Building Fund.
Ease of budgeting for Youth, Children, School, Senior and Family Programs.
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO TO ENROLL?
Decide how much you can and want to contribute on a monthly basis to:
A: Building Fund
B: Parish General Fund (Budget)
Sign Pre-Authorized Giving Form and enclose a “void cheque” (see reverse side)
Return this to the Parish by mail or with your Sunday budget envelope (put into the collection)
WHO WILL LOOK AFTER PRE-AUTHORIZED GIVING PLAN?
The Office of Stewardship and Development of the Archidiocese of Toronto will administer Pre-Authorized Giving Plan for all participating parishes. Our parish office will issue receipts.
